Just like draperies, (mini blinds, verticals, pleated shades, and duettes), are all affected by sun, heat. and contaminates. Deterioration will show up on mini blinds by paint fading, streaking, pealing, or oxidizing. On verticals and pleated shades by colors fading, plastics yellowing and weakening. Finally, on duettes by the glue drying out and the shade separating. To help reduce deterioration, we recommend cleaning these window coverings once or twice a year.
